As our children grow and branch out to new opportunities, we must try harder to stay in touch with what occupies their lives. Now, more than ever, is the time to be there for them, and volunteering at Challenger is a great way to do that. Step 1: Complete the forms listed below.

TB Clearance - our school nurse will be able to assist you on the days that she is at Challenger. See Tania Verdugo for more information.
Step 2: Submit completed forms to Tania Verdugo, Parent Volunteer Coordinator & Admin Assistant. She will assist you in determining your category level and if you will need to complete an additional requirements.
Starting July 1, 2026, SB 848 requires that all Category C & D volunteers complete mandated reporter training. This job aid walks volunteers through the process of creating a Vector Solutions account and completing the required training.
If You Need a Live Scan
Some volunteers will need to have a Live Scan done. At this time, volunteers must make arrangements and pay for their own Live Scan. The cost varies depending on the the location. See the links below for more information.
